Which fabric is best?

  • Soft jersey: our most popular range, in lots of colours, with a cover that comes off for washing.
  • Corduroy: a ribbed, hard-wearing finish that hides marks and suits a living room.
  • Eco-leather: wipes clean with a damp cloth, a good choice for nurseries and messy toddlers.

What age is a ball pit for?

Most babies are ready once they can sit up steadily on their own, often around 6 to 9 months. Start with a shallow fill and add balls as they grow. Read our guide: what age is a ball pit for?

Need more balls?

Pits come with 150 to 1,200 balls. For a deeper fill, add a pack of 7cm ball pit balls or a factory box of 750 from 16.5p a ball. Delivery is free across the UK.

Ball pit FAQs

Are foam ball pits safe for babies?

Yes, for babies who can sit unaided and with an adult close by. Soft foam walls and a padded base are much gentler than inflatable or plastic pits. Use 7cm balls, which are too big to fit in a small child's mouth.

How do I clean a ball pit?

Take the cover off and wash it at 30°C (check the label), and wipe the balls with warm soapy water. Here's our ball pit cleaning guide.

How long does delivery take?

In-stock ball pits are dispatched in 1 to 2 working days and usually arrive 4 to 5 working days later, with free UK delivery.
